Incorrect paperwork

Incorrect paperwork

My divorce is still slowly lumbering on from previous post.
For the second time, the Decree Nisi has been denied because the "place of marriage" for our foreign marriage has been incorrectly stated.
How many times can your ex keep putting in incorrect paperwork?

In this instance, she still doesn' t agree to a divorce after 5 years separation, and is benefitting from my company making payments into the pension scheme, of which she has been awarded 100%..

Obviously, her divorce petition blocks me from submitting the correct paperwork.
Once would be unfortunate, twice seems like a deliberate instruction to her solicitors to delay things.

A solicitor cannot deliberately misstate the place of marriage on the instructions of a client because a solicitor owes a duty to the court which overrides their duty to the client. That is not to say that solicitors cannot make mistakes because they can like everyone else but they cannot deliberately misstate the facts on the instructions of a client. That way leads to being struck off the roll as a solicitor.

Bearing in mind that the divorce seems to be based on five years' separation you also bear some responsibility for that because nothing obliged you to wait.
