Final hearing

Hello. My final hearing is fast approaching and I wondered if I could obtain some advice.
Married for 17years, 2 dependent children. I have always worked around my husband and children without any childcare. He worked away a lot. Marriage ended after several affairs on his part. Property is valued at £500k with £50k on the mortgage. Pension pots are £430k CETV and £80k, both his.
He works for himself and turns over around £200k per year no real overheads, and has a nice amount in the bank.
I work around the children and earn approx. £12k per year. He also owns 2 cars, I had to sell mine to fund the divorce.
My position is to keep the house and pay off the mortgage, and he keep the bigger pension, I have the small one. Maintenance for the children and a clean break.

He wants a clean break and 25% Mesher order and for me to have 25% of his combined pensions. I am reasonably confident in my position, but wanted to know your thoughts.

I think the final outcome is likely to be nearer your position than his. Given the disparity of income and the fact that there are two dependent children this is not a clean break case. If he wants a clean break then he can be expected to pay for it. That is the point that he is overlooking.
