Good morning Finally we have come to an agreement in the divorce, and we need to do a consent form within 28 days, am I correct in thinking only one party needs to complete this with the other over seeing it and costs to be split? Good evening I receive legal aid and am due to attend court is 2 weeks, last week legal aid wanted to reassess my claim. My solicitor has just emailed me and said that legal aid have cancelled my discharged my legal aid certificate with immediate effect my housing benefit has gone up by £10 per week and I’ve taken home an extra £21 a week for 6 weeks to cover the day off I have for court (I onby Stacey - UK Divorce Forum

Hello I am going to court in January regarding the property, my ex is an estate agent and the valuations he has had done are quite low I think he has got his friends also in the industry to do these lower valuations, the valuation I had done was £30k more my solicitor is now saying about having a surveyor come and do the valuation are these likely to be correct for the market value or will theby Stacey - UK Divorce Forum
Morning, Is there anyway my ex can stop paying the mortgage and it not affect our credit rating? He’s only not paid one month so far but I very much doubt he would do anything to affect his credit rating. He’s already taken out a 6 month mortgage holiday over covid and still works full time also has his current gf is living at the property so that’s 2 wages coming in. Unsure what to do for the best and feel the solicitors just want this case over with as it is through legal aid. I think court is now my only option to getting this sorted. As the mortgage hasn’t been paid I will now have a mark on my credit but surely won’t he aswell even though he paid say his half? My soon be be took out a mortgage holiday without my knowledge, the banks say this is fine as only one person needs to apply for this. He didn’t need to as he was still in full like employment, so he has pocketed 6months of the mortgage therefore putting my mortgage up as interest was still added but no payments were made. Thankyou for your response I guess it is really difficult then to know what the courts will actually say. I need to enter the property to let estate agents in to value it but my ex is refusing to allow me access, can he do this?
