In my wifes S25 statement, she has "stated" :

I may require temporary financial support to help cover utility bills until I am able to support
myself. I am not envisaging needing an excessive period of time to get back on my feet,
but I feel a reasonable amount of time to purchase a family home, start a small business or
commence a training programme is required.
I disagree that she requires any form of maintenance.
However, is the fact that she never quantifies what she is asking for relevant? It appears to be from previous proceedings. Is there any direct manner in which I can approach this open ended request?
