Unless the issue of your possessions is dealt with specifically in the consent order the chances are that your wife will simply dump your stuff. It is your responsibility to see that does not happen by ensuring that the consent order deals explicitly with the issue. Like I said, your wife's solicitor act for her and not for you. They will have drafted it with her interests in mind, not yours.

Pal! Take it from someone who has been fighting for 3 years! Get everything in writing. BUT....screw the possessions! They are only things and are memories of bad times. I fought her for my stuff....I have 2 x 20' storage containers full of stuff I just want to take to the tip.
