Form A help please!!
May 24, 2023 02:53PM
Hi

Does anyone have a template Form A competed as a guide. I'm trying to do this without solicitors. I'm looking for the courts to help post mediation not working as ex refused to engage. I have the MIAM certificate. Just want to make sure I fill it in correctly

I have the final order so the divorce is complete. Just want to sort finances out.

Also do you have to pay at this stage for submitting a Form A?

Lastly how do you get it to the court. Do you just email it to the nearest available court? Or is their a way online?

Regards

A solicitor would be ill advised to offer any advice on this. That is because acting as a litigant in person means just that. It means the litigant taking the decisions and bearing the consequences of those decisions. If a solicitor were to offer advice in these circumstances you can be 100% sure the litigant in person will hold that solicitor responsible for that advice so the solicitor would be recklessly putting their professional indemnity insurance at risk. It just isn't a sensible thing for a solicitor to do, sorry.
