Hi,
I am going through the early stages of divorce, but currently living in the same house as the soon to be ex wife.
I've proposed a financial agreement for the terms of the divorce helping her as much as possible as we have children together. She has taken ages to come back to me as she doesnt understand it, or feel its fair... but I'll deal with that once she cames back to me.
The question I have is that I have got to the point I really can't trust her anymore. She wants other people on the phone or to record conversations we have. Also the number of people that know our business from her is unknown... I know of the new partner, parents and friends having conversations and giving her (poor) advice.
I have seen that RIPA 2000 states that recording can be taken without consent for personal used, but can not be shared without consent of the participants. But how does it stand if she has her phone on her with someone on the line without me knowing.
I am getting concerned that she is deliberately causing conflict or pressing my buttons then getting her phone out...
I've never been violent to her in 22 years and no matter how angry I get, I never would.
She had her new girlfriend on the phone at one point and she shouted, "if you lay a finger on her"... I was hurt, what has she been told... it caused me to get more upset and angry at the thought.
Just so very tired still paying 100% of the outgoings, her living in the house dictating everything still.
Thank you for any advice you give.
