Would after both parties attending and agreeing
during mediation have an effect on how a judge would look at a consent order (clean break)....
Assuming the order submitted to the court follows the agreement reached in mediation and that it is reasonable then there is no reason why a court should not approve it. However, please note the reasonableness part. Mediators are in general interested in helping the parties reach agreement not in ensuring that that agreement is reasonable. It may or may not be reasonable and that is what a court will be interested in.
My Stbx will loose her entitlement to state benefits and therefore her income due to lump sum payment received
Could this effect the proposed 50/50 split of the matrimonial home
So change the division somewhat
